The Ace Instructors
Paul Dreger has been teaching driver's education for 19+ years - both on the road and in the classroom. He earned a bachelor of science degree in engineering management from the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado. In addition, he was a pilot in the Air Force flying KC-135 aircraft. Upon returning to Manitowoc, he worked in sales for several years before becoming a police officer with the city of Manitowoc. After a 20 year career with law enforcement, he retired and now specializes only in driver's education with emphasis on the rules of the road and a drive right attitude!
Ron Kryzenske has been an instructor at Ace Driving School since November of 2003. He is a science teacher and a long time Packers, Brewers, and Bucks fan. Ron and his wife Donna, a first grade teacher, have 4 children - (Matt, Laura, Cara and Eric). Ron and Donna love to travel and spend time at their lakeside home near Hayward, WI.
Larry Tollefson enjoys teaching the students the rules of the road. Larry has over 38 years of driving experience and has been a drivers education instructor for over 5 years. He enjoys photography, cooking and reading books. He also loves playing the keyboard. Larry's motto is, "Safe driving is #1!" He also has a daughter named Kelly.
Lisa Geiger has been instructing students behind the wheel and in the classroom since May of 2005, which she enjoys very much! Lisa is proud to be on the qualified team at Ace Driving School sharing her experience while maintaining an excellent driving record. She is happily married to Keith, a mother of three adult children and two adult step-children, and a lifelong resident of Manitowoc. Lisa is also a Grandmother of two grandsons which is a role she really cherishes!
Through the years she has enjoyed volunteering her time and still does with children and young adults in the community which has been very rewarding for her. Lisa's other interests include photography, hiking, biking, crafting, fishing, golfing, and traveling.
Paul Augustine has been a driver education instructor for over 5 years. He has an associate dregree in Mechanical Design from Lakeshore Technical College and a CDL from Fox Valley Technical College. He is a die-hard Packer Fan, enjoys golfing and working outside. He is happy to have the opportunity to teach young people how to drive. Paul and his wife, Marilyn, have two children, Laura and Matt.
Ron Hacker has over 18 years experience as a driver education instructor. His interests include working on antique cars, fishing in small lakes, and enjoys Nascar and drag racing at Wisconsin International Raceway.
Ken Kornely went to work at Ace Driving School as a temporary job. A decade or more and over 500,000 miles logged in and he is still doing it. Ken works with many great people! He enjoys the task at hand teaching young people how to drive. Each student is truly different. Ken really hopes he will be able to teach for many years to come.
Shar Petri is new to Ace Driving School but has been a driving instructor previously at other driving schools in NE Wisconsin. She is a licensed elementary school teacher who substitutes in local schools. She enjoys teaching students in the classroom and behind the wheel. In their spare time she and her husband, Dennis, spend time with their children and grandchildren.
Cheryl Van Abel has been instructing students behind the wheel and occasionally in the classroom since August, 2008. She is happily married to Travis and enjoys spending quality time with family (Mrs. G) and friends. Cheryl's other interests include fishing, hiking, sports, and traveling.
